@30pics4jackiesdiamond@shutterbug49 I really like MC Escher paintings. However, this building was built between 1899 and 1902, when MC Escher was born. The building was designed according to the classical rules adopted by universities in Europe at that time. The massive load-bearing walls of the building were not only a structure supporting the ceilings and roof, but also concealed a network of ducts of the former heating system with warm air supplied from the external boiler room. I think that MC Escher, learned from these patterns, perfectly captured them in his works, and we see it today through his eyes.
