Ready to grow

Although winter may still last a few weeks, some plants are already getting ready. I think it's so wonderfully hairy to protect himself from the cold.

a good theory. I need to grow a few more hairs! Great close up capture. I am trying to resist seeing the animate nature of this bud but with those two big feet sticking out the nose ears and pointy hat it is rather difficult.
