I have been interested in photography all my life and remember quite well developing my first black and white films myself... My favorite subjects are...
Oh, those empty spaces where people should be, accentuated by the uninterrupted yellow lines with no hands on them. Great capture with the lone traveler. The colors in this pull together well, too, as if you had painted and selected them.
One traveler when you're used to seeing a packed train can be a little unnerving. I've only had to take a few trips to town but the lack of cars on the road feels very strange. Where I used to hit two or three traffic lights, I now rarely hit one. Good shot!
I like your DoF and the lines defined in yellow. Definitely a sign of the times. Eerie to see the car almost empty like the streets and roads have been at times around here.
Nice picture of our time. You see more and more empty spaces nowadays. I saw an aerial picture of Toronto's highways, traffic mostly bumper to bumper, now lots of room in-between. fav.
Our trains are the same way, even during rush hour (although that's a good thing because they get super packed). A very poignant reminder of the times we're in. Excellent capture.
