Hi all,
I was inspired to join the site by my friend Osia whom I have seen bloom to become an amazing photographer over the years. Scientist by day, involved in community music and writing scenes by night, there are opportunities for joy everywhere.

For 2016, I want to focus on portrait photography. I am fascinated by people's range of emotions, passions, hardships and victories. It seems like an easy place to start to have each photo tell a whole story, whether it's a friend looking at her kids on the computer, or another friend blowing some beautiful music through a flugelhorn. It's what makes us human in everyday life. With an easy topic set, I am looking forward to exploring my technique in multiple ways.
