We visited Carreg Cennen Castle and had a wonderful circular walk enabling us to view it from all angles and many heights. I got quite creative in getting into positions to ensure that foliage or similar covered up the ugly red plastic sheeting that framed the repair work taking place. however, this is the view as approached from the car park. These men were taking down scaffolding and carrying plank by plank down the hill when we arrived, and still doing the same some five hours later when we left. Here they are having a breather, but I rather thought it looks as if they are wondering how they will ever be able to complete the rebuilding of the castle.
Wonderful photo! It can be frustrating trying to capture a bit of history in the middle of a restoration. But, it is so amazing to know it can be saved.
