Up for an 8am walk today and as I had seen signs of the blackberries ripening yesterday, I grabbed a pot in case it seemed right to gather a few. They were, indeed, plentiful and it seemed that the signs of Autumn were all around despite the day having a lovely Summer feel to it.
As there are two large, round, shiny apples hanging over the garden wall from next door's tree, I'm off to make a blackberry and apple crumble. See you later.
