I may just have introduced these turkey vultures to the notion of spinning heads. Truth is, there were absolutely no bokeh photos amongst may vast American collection - and another truth is, if I ever do get bokeh, it is more by delight than design. So that's another thing I need to further research.
In the meanwhile, these turkey vultures were in the garden of our host's home in Cape Cod and I selected them to practice adding bokeh to a picuture, with a little help from the www.
Ill be back viewing your photos - hopefully tomorrow if not before.
@suzanne234 there were many more visiting the lawn whilst we stayed. thanks for all your visits and comments Suzanne @overalvandaan thank you. because I know that I put it there, it looks very artificial to me. @quietpurplehaze it was hard work! thanks for dropping by
@redandwhite I never actually saw them flying which is a shame. They just seemed to roam around the garden in a group. @onewing im sorry to say that I didn't capture the bokeh - I created it. @haskar many thanks - for all your faithful commenting
bokeh is actually the soft background you get when you shoot with a shallow dof and most times it comes out as something round/circular. very nice, helen.
