We popped up the coast to look at a home in this area and fell in love with the view, I have spent a few hours at different times shooting the birdlife on these lagoons.
This is really beautiful Helen! I haven't been on this site very much, been rather busy. You are still going strong!! Your photos are such inspiration. I did get a new camera Nikon D7000. I'm doing a wedding mid march and knew I need a camera backup. I looked at the shutter count of my D5100 and discovered I'm at 138,000 plus! The typical count for that camera is 50,000. I got very nervous. Thank you for all your inspiration - you really were a big part of it for me.
@myhrhelper thanks Kathy, yep still going strong, in my fourth year now and still loving it!! I would be too scared to check my shutter count - haha. My 7D is on its last legs and am going to send it off to get some things looked at before it finally dies at the end of its warranty - hanging out for the 7D mark 2! I've done 2 weddings now and found them stressful and not something I want to do all the time, still happy clicking for a hobby :-) Happy shooting!
