Top of the Mountain. A Canadian Police Horse.

This black Canadian is 16 years old. He serves in the Cavalerie. Police on horses, patrol the mountain and the extensive cemeteries, on top of the mountain. The cemeteries are so big that people get lost( I did) and the horse police let you know how to get out before they lock the gates. The stables are on top of the mountain and people love to touch these gentle horses. They have a lot of patience. The Canadians, are also used, in The Mounted police Musical Ride that tours the country. They are not stationed in Quebec. They are black or dark brown.

What a nice moment you have capture, Johanna! Thank you too for the information. I am embarrassed that my first awareness of the Canadian Royal Mounties was through the old cartoon "Dudley Doright."

@cejaanderson There are so many things to know in this world. I do not know the cartoon, so. I did not start quite where I thought I would start you on the tour of Montreal,I only have 2 shots left before I am not allowed to read or be upright. I will follow everyone on a flat tablet. Just learning how to use it. It's' a bonus as I really did not need a tablet before. So I have started you on your trip to Montreal, which is situated around a old volcano,it is a little mountain, but it is a beautiful place.

That is a beautiful animal, and such a tender moment between horse and human. Also appropriate to have the Police bus in back as the horse is working for his oats.

@mbemis @cejaanderson When they are working as riot horses, they wear a full face shield and protective body blankets..There is trouble coming with the upcoming bruins Canadians hockey rivalry.
