I cannot remember when I first heard the story about this rock but I had never seen it until I stumbled upon it today on my first "proper" hike of the year.
The sign on the rock says (my attempt at a translation) :
"The weapons rock"
Risking their own lives, five young men carried a secret consignment of weapons to this rock and hid them on November 10th. 1944.
