Went to Pancoast Mill, a few miles from home, looking for a photo and I liked this one. Pancoast Mill was in existance from the late 18th century to the middle if the 20th century, the only thing still there is the pond the created. All aspects of the mill itself are no longer there.
Retired educator - taught mathematics in high school, went back to graduate school, worked in research labs, and finally went back and taught computer science...
I like how you have to keep looking at the photo to see more. It is not just grass and a pond, but cat tails, some already dried, light reflections, a grey sky and, boom, there is your dragon fly.
