A collage from the day after Irene visited us. The stream going across the street - only the 2nd time in 40 years - is the same one I shot on http://365project.org/hjbenson/365/2011-07-31 Around our house, we lost electric and some tree limbs. During the clean up, we found a very upset snake and a friendly caterpillar.
The photos were resized and the bottom 2 cropped otherwise sooc

Great collage Harry. This is a good photographic record of the aftermath. I would like to see the snake photo in a larger size. From the thumbnail it looks like a beauty even in its anger.
@pamfromcalgary Thank you Pam, I will post the snake in my others album, it lunged at us several times @cscecil Thank you Carolyn, we dodged the bullet this time @angievega Thank you Angie, and glad to hear you got through it also @tralo29 Thank you Tracey, we were cleaning up the fallen limbs and there he was
@brumbe Thank you Paula, looking at the news, Philly got more rain then we did @jjsooner Thank you Jennifer, very happy only some minor tree limbs @kerristephens Thank you Kerri, I was glad it wasn't worse
@pwallis Thank you Paula, first time in over 100 years, the eye actually came over NJ @terek55 Thank you Terry, I tried to get his lunge, but he was to fast @webfoot Thank you Paul, just a common garter snake (I think)
@orangecrush Thank you Jerry, I was happy there were no fallen trees by our house @highway266 Thank you Ted, 365 lets all of us show the local, I really enjoy this site
@scooter Thank you Scooter, we were very lucky on this one @vernabeth Thank you Beth, I moved him back to the wooded part of our property, hopefully he will be happier there
Great overview of the aftermath. The angry snake amused me, though. I'm sure the poor guy had no idea what the heck was going on in his world since he wasn't able to tune into the news like we were.
So glad you survived the storm with minimal clean up to worry about.
