The skies around here have been clear, both during the day and the night. Since it is a full moon, I decided to try and capture the moon again while it was low in the sky and appears bigger. This time, I used my Sigma 70-300 lens. Completely sooc.

@maggiemae Thank you Maggie, the ones I took later with the same settings the moon looks whiter. @davidrowe Thank you David, no noticeable clouds here @stiggle Thank you Anja, one of the many lessons I have learned on 365
@morrist Thank you Theresa, now that I know how to do it I enjoy taking the moon @peterdegraaff Thank you Peter, other full moons here have been overcast, so when it isn't I am out there snapping away.
@goodnouc Thank you Christine, actually you don't need a tripod. Since the moon is so bright in comparison to everything else you have to put it on manual and manual focus with settings similar to mine - 1/200 sec. f/5.6, ISO 125 @cscecil Thank you Carolyn, now that I know how to do it, I enjoy capturing the moon
@naomi Thank you Naomi, and I had to do it on manual :) @grannysue Thank you Linda, studying the lighting needed for the moon has made me more cognizant of how to use light in my photos
