Our Lily of the Valley has finally started to bloom. We have a cement walkway from our driveway at our garage to our front door. It is about 3 ft from the side of the garage and goes about 22 ft. Nice shot. You are head of us in southern MN. You will find that your Lily of the Valley will spread and eventually cover the area you mentioned: it is incredibly aromatic and makes great fround cover.

I have never smelt a fresh one before (doesn't grow here, unfortunately) but from soaps and perfumes, it is my fave scent! Plus I like the hymn that says Jesus is the Lily of the Valley....:)
