I had shown some photos of this new station being built. But today I had known the volunteer firefighters were putting in the sod around the building - the chief's wife told me. So I went over and the chief took me on a tour. The new fire station is 14,000 sq. ft., the three bays for the fire trucks are 90 ft long and 24 feet wide. There are two bays for ambulances that can hold 4 even though we only have 3.
