We left Las Vegas to drive to Phoenix, AZ for a week's vacation. On the way we stopped at Hoover Dam. It is as impressive as I have read about it. The amount of cement used could have paved a highway from San Francisco to New York.
Retired educator - taught mathematics in high school, went back to graduate school, worked in research labs, and finally went back and taught computer science...
Nice photo Harry, its hard to get the whole dam in the view. We were there on February, and I agree, its pretty impressive. so glad to have seen it. Enjoy your vacation.
