We drove to Superior, WI today, it is the site of Benson Electric that my grandfather founded over a 100 years ago - he left the company in the 1920s, but they retained the name. My brother, Dave met us there. The inserts are my grandfather and my brother

@archaeofrog Thank you Katie, my dad was born in Duluth and st year old the family moved to Superior and stayed there until he was in junior high when they moved again
Awesome that the family name is still there on the building and for the company. Does the family own it still? So wonderful to have all that history of your family.
@grannysue Thank you Linda, my grandfather left it in the 1920s and no family has been connected with it since, but the name was known in the maritime industry so they have kept it.
