Well we were away, we received a phone call from the National Park Service. They were putting together a display from towns that were named after battles in the Mexican-American War 1846-1848. Our township was named after the Battle of Buena Vista http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Buena_Vista The Park Service requested photos and other materials that we might have (whenever the town hall gets a phone call about local history, they give out our phone number). So just about sunset I went out and took these photos (+2, 0, -2) and overlayed them.
Retired educator - taught mathematics in high school, went back to graduate school, worked in research labs, and finally went back and taught computer science...
