Our Neighbor

We are staying at the Villa Roma Resort in the Catskills. When we were last year, we saw a groundhog. He is still here a year later, albeit a little bit grayer.

He's doing well then - staying alive. Perhaps they feed him! Is the skin soft or furry?

Where they find food they seem to stick around. we always see one when we visit Edwards Garden in Toronto.

Thanks for sharing. Never seen one before. Thought it was a mole type of animal. Googled and found it to be large ground squirrels known as marmots. Also learned they swim and can climb a tree.
