Retired educator - taught mathematics in high school, went back to graduate school, worked in research labs, and finally went back and taught computer science...
I'm going to guess it's a Foxglove- but I'm probably wrong. I've seen them many times and they come in other colors too- blue, pink and white. My other thought is Lupine, but I don't think it's that. Anyway- whatever it is, it's pretty!
