@pdulis We were in West Orange on September 11, 2001 at my in-laws. On the tv, I saw the plane hit the second tower. We got into the car and drove the 2 miles to this point and looked at the NYC skyline and the burning towers
We were in Sussex County at the time and I was just starting out at Alliance for my master's. Between classes and a part-time job I was never able to make it to this vantage point. To this day, I've still not been into the Memorial or taken in the view of the skyline. I'm not sure why other than life just hasn't offered the opportunity. Good shot.
