This is taken from outside the Garden Room, which is on the 10th floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building nee Hotel Utah. We had gone here for our lunch break from the all day class we were taking at the Library. The blue in the sky made me feel that the snow was over but when we left the Library it looks like it will start again, see http://365project.org/hjbenson/365/2011-11-05

Having never really lived in a snow area, seeing snow fall in the city is a really weird sight to me. I saw it snow once when I was in Philadelphia and just loved it. The other people at the conference with me thought I was nuts. I'd never seen it snow before.
@morrisroos Thank you Don, I knew going up there that I should be able to get a good shot @5unflow3r Thank you Trina, I liked the angle it gave me of the temple @tralo29 Thank you Tracey, the weather had changed enough from the morning to give me a good photo
@kerristephens Thank you Kerri, It is a great looking temple @jml0306 Thank you Joseph, there are a lot of photographic opportunities here @scooter Thank you Scooter, the weather really helped with the snow in the trees and the blue patches of sky
Wow. I visited last year, and I really enjoyed taking pictures of this area. At night it is so beautiful. And with snow, that's would be awesome! I want to go back.
@jeancarl Thank you JeanCarl, I appreciate the fav; we come to Salt Lake about once a year since my wife is a professional genealogist and have always enjoyed the scenery here.
