Walkers Forge Church by hjbenson

Walkers Forge Church

To get to the Estell Manor Park, I took the back way (read unpaved roads) I found this 1834 M.E. Church about 2 km from the park. Best Viewed Large

Harry, the clouds really make this shot. They gave you some really good lighting to work with.

This is such a classic looking country church... Plain white, basic front entrance and cemetery right beside it. Beautiful! :)

@webfoot Thank you Paul, I felt the sky was important to, so I angled to get more of it in.
@marilyn Thank you Marilyn, I agree it is a classic, not a big steepled ornate city church, just a nice common country one.
@beachcomber149 Thank you Norman, it is fun taking the less traveled road to see what is there

@crickle1969 Thank you Crickle, I find small country churches are more to my way of thinking then an elaborate cathedral
