smoke 2

For my get-pushed challenge this week, Kate said "... have a go at capturing smoke artistically!"

For my other photos posted today http://365project.org/hjbenson/365/2014-03-26 http://365project.org/hjbenson/others/2014-03-26

Great capture, something I am yet to do but having quit smoking 4 months ago almost I'm a bit short on smokers ;)

@katelyn13 Thank you Kate,
@bruni Thank you Bruni
The photo is sooc, I tried some candles, but they don't give off enough smoke; so I purchased some incense sticks, which do. I used a black bag as the background, waved my hand towards the column of smoke to get some turbulence in the air, set the camera at 1/30 and tried different ISOs until I found one that I liked

@hjbenson Ah, that sounds quite doable. I might have to have a go myself.
