Just one year ago, right about the time we found out we were moving to Boston area, terrorists set off a bomb at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing 3 and injuring more than 250 people. Just one of the sites we had to see before we left.
Did they change the location this year? Is the finish line the same always? A dream of mine was to run the Boston Marathon. I had to give it up when my knees crapped out on me. My sis ran it, though...and my cousin's wife did the bomb year and finished right before the blast. She was ok, but was right in the thick of it.
