The Geico gecko stopped by today. Not sure if he was trying to sell us insurance or pest control, as he seemed to be gobbling up some of the little insects that came through the screens on our screened in porch. Not sure how he got inside our porch.
@joansmor Hahaha! I hope he eats a lot. @digitalrn Yeah, he's just a little guy. Much smaller than the blue tailed skink we had in our garage in IL. My boys chased him all summer before they caught him. @linnypinny@lynnz Thanks! @zosimasy Oh, cool! That will be a good one!
I do not do well with reptiles- so this would be a very unwelcome sight for me!! However, I would not mind his contribution to eliminating the unwanted bug intruders, so I'd just give him space for a little while and then make Jeff chase him away! Fun shot.
@olivetreeann I don't mind them if they are little and aren't poisonous. His body was only about 2 inches long, so he was pretty small. mostly tail. We had a blue-tailed skink in our garage in IL one summer. My boys chased it all summer and finally caught it in a box. It ran up my older son's arm and sat on his shoulder for about 10 minutes. I got lots of pictures. He loved it. It was about 6 or 7 inches long plus tail, though.
@charmboxstudios He was out there most of the afternoon, so I'm hoping he ate a lot! LOL!
Let's see if you can capture Christmas in July?
