@kwind@linnypinny@linc Thanks! @joansmor Well, he practices inside our backyard. But we've taught him gun safety and hunting safety from the time he could walk. He's probably safer with guns and bows than most adults. In fact, just today, both my boys passed their field test (they took a course online and had to go to a class for a final test) for their hunter's safety card. In NC, that qualifies them for a full hunting license and to hunt on their own without adult supervision (although he will still hunt with dad).
@joansmor Yes, they sure were. Last year they each got a squirrel in our backyard with their air rifle and Hunter got a grouse with the youth shotgun when they were deer hunting one day. But, now they are ready to go after the big game with a bow and gun.
@juliedduncan Oh, yes, he loves this. He even saved up his money to pay for part of his bow. @swilde That's what I thought when I saw it, too. It even has rubber pieces on it to absorb the vibrations so it's quieter. @digitalrn He practices every day, too, shooting at least 50 arrows each time.

@paulam Yes, he's outside practicing every chance he gets!
