Well, I wondered why I hadn't seen any cotton growing near my house! Turns out, what I thought were soybeans, are actually cotton. We are starting to see some white appear on the plants. I need to pay more attention to the stuff growing around us! LOL! It gave me an excuse to make a better attempt to get a picture of this old ivy covered barn.
@joansmor Thanks. It's lush and green right now, that's why I thought it was soybeans. I can't wait to see it all white with cotton. @mittens Hahaha! I lived in the Midwest too long! @sarasdadandmom That's why I've been trying to get this picture for weeks. I was stopped in traffic one day, looked over and there was that barn all covered in ivy. It sits a good way off the road and it's a busy road, which is why I hadn't noticed it before. I got lucky yesterday and the road was clear, so I could stop and take a picture! There's another old barn I want a picture of, but it's on a busier road. Short of pulling into someone's driveway, I'm not sure how I'm going to get that shot.
