Darn it! I have to darn! by homeschoolmom

Darn it! I have to darn!

This is my Six Word Story for today as I have spent the last hour darning several holes in my daughter's shirt. One was big enough to stick my finger through. The metal diamond shapes on the shirt get caught on everything and rips the material next to them. This makes it hard to darn. This collage also has 3 square pictures for Square September.
definately time for a lesson on darning, not you , your daughter :-)

It must be a special sweater to go to so much trouble, but gosh darn it, that daughter is worth it! (o:

@pinkpaintpot I have showed her many times. If it's a small hole she can fix it, but she wouldn't even know where to start with the big rip.
@rachelwithey @tremerryn @mittens @nadaa @linnypinny Thanks!
@olivetreeann Actually, it's t-shirt on the front and lace on the back. I think it came from Express, so we repair it to make it last longer since it cost so much!

@summerfield LOL! Thanks! It comes from having 3 messy kids, they are always ripping something. I don't darn socks either.

Very cool photos! (Sometimes minor sewing repairs are required but, if it's socks we trash them and buy new). I love how you arranged your fabric items!
