We spent nearly 90 minutes stuck in traffic on I-81 this morning because of a 5+ car fender bender. Took this picture between vehicles of the bales of hay and the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background.
well, glad you were not in the fender-bender! I'm sure there was a reason you had to stop there (or so I tgell myself when that sort of thing happens.)
@neatz They probably harvested it a long time ago, just left it lay in the field. But, than again, it is the South, so harvest times are much later than normal. @ceilidh Thanks!
@randystreat We drive about 77 miles of it between Staunton and Strasbourg.
@francoise We were a good 20 miles behind it, thankfully.
@randystreat That's the route we took when we moved from NH to NC because we were trying to miss NYC and DC.
@sangwann Me, too. This stretch of interstate is particularly bad. It's filled with semi-trucks and crazy drivers.
