Music was the main focus of my teenage years. It helped me celebrate the good times, calmed me down when I was upset, and picked me up when I was down. I played in every band my high school had, pretty much playing a different instrument in each band except for Marching and Pep Bands (well, because Pep Band is really just Marching Band sitting still on the bleacher in the gym! LOL!). I've played in an Army Band, the concert band at college, various community bands, and in several different church worship bands. And, it was originally what I went to college to study. But, my favorite instrument (and the one I've played the longest, since I started "playing" along with my grandfather as a baby) is the piano. This one I inherited from my paternal grandfather who also passed down his love of music. For today's Feb word, music!
