Homemade meatballs ready to bake! by homeschoolmom

Homemade meatballs ready to bake!

Picked up 40 pounds of organic burger this afternoon. I made meatloaf muffins, meatballs, lots of taco meat and sloppy joes (those were for dinner, my son's request). That used up 20 pounds. The other 20 pounds is in the freezer in 10-pound tubes for use next month! Feeding 3 teens is serious business, especially when they have evening activities every weeknight.
I'm impressed!

@danette I do the same thing with chicken! It's the only way we can have decent food during the week.

10 pounds would last me over a year. You have some busy years ahead cooking.

@joansmor Wow, 10 pounds of burger last us like 3 meals.

@homeschoolmom 1 pound is 4 meals for me. Two go in the freezer. This is the life of a widow.

@joansmor And you probably don't eat 1/3 of what one of my boys does in one meal! LOL!
