Our Boy Scouts learning cooking as part of the Cooking Merit Badge and Camping Merit Badge. They cut up onions and bell peppers to make omelets in a bag for the breakfast they had to prepare.
Cooking is something I take for granted and forget that it actually is a learned skill. These boys will always be thankful that they learned these lessons when young!
@taffy They have to both are required to get their Eagle rank, and Mrs. Johns won't sign them off completed if they don't. @sangwann Hahaha! I think he's waiting to cut up the peppers. @francoise Oh, good idea. I never thought about that. It's a church instead of a street, but I was strolling around snapping shots of everyone! LOL! @stownsend Yes, me too, because the the time I was the younger boys' age, I cooked most of my family's meals. @lesip@mittens Thanks!
