New Mural in Town

Found a new mural today, so it must be a fairly recent addition. It honors two icons from our community, W.B. Wicker (a lot of stuff in town is named after him) and A.L. Boykin (who I had never heard of). So, we went in search of the buildings they are known for, WB Wicker Elementary (which closed in 1988) and the S.L. Long House (built in 1924) both of which are just about a mile from the mural. I love the creativity of these murals - a stovepipe turned into a tree to separate the two sides of the mural.
Beautifully done murals! Thanks for sharing the history behind them
