Lineman Practice by homeschoolmom

Lineman Practice

My son had football practice this morning. I went out to the field to pick him up, took this picture any my battery died. So, I didn't get a picture of him running this drill to teach the linemen to pick up a fumble and run for a touchdown. My son is the tallest one in the middle wearing all black. Saturday practices don't usually have all the team members present, so they tend to practice as a club, so those guys that don't reach his shoulder pads aren't his actual teammates. Hunter's teammates tend to be even bigger than he is. Last year the offensive line on his 12U team weighed over 1100 pounds combined, which may be why they won the state championship. This year, many of them bumped up to the 14U team. Looks like it's going to be another great season.
I hate it when the battery dies! Grr...
Oh well, this is still shows what is happening. Good luck to Hunter this season.

The side of the building looked like sky initially and I couldn't figure out what the vertical lines were. I like how there are vines running across the top of the chain link fence.

@randystreat Haha! Yes, that building is sky colored. That ivy runs everywhere. It will even run up telephone poles and onto the power lines.
