Although we've had a small rain shower almost every evening, it's not enough to do any good. Mostly, it hits the very hot ground and evaporates, making the already high humidity increase. Usually, there is about 2 inches of water going across this spillway, today it was only about a half inch of water, less than that in some spots. I walked across and didn't get my feet wet.
