That's my baby boy with his hand on the football, playing center for the 14U team. Oh, my goodness, it was a long, hot day. I felt so bad for the boys because it was way too hot to be wearing all that gear and playing that hard. By the 3rd scrimmage, most of our boys were feeling pretty bad, dizzy from the heat, but sick to their stomachs from drinking cold water. But, they kept playing and ended up winning 2 of the 3 scrimmage games.
@milaniet And because it was a scrimmage game, I was only 20 feet away from them. That helps too. I wish this game had been at night. I was really hot out there.
@mittens I practically was! LOL! In fact, once, two boys playing on the other end of the field landed about 3 feet in front of me. I had to start paying closer attention to both ends of the field after that! LOL!
