My trip to Wal-mart today proved that saying about the full moon making people crazy. A total stranger started talking to me in the purse aisle, telling me how her $300 Coach purse was stolen from her car while she was in the gym. Twenty minutes later, she was still going on and on about how she hoped Trump was going to clean up this country. Then, just a few minutes later as I was checking out, this Hispanic woman started screaming at one of the employees, half in English and half in Spanish, but mostly in curse words. Finally, an older gentleman checking out in the aisle next to me told her in a loud, commanding voice, "Hey, now that's enough!" We thanked him as we walked passed us, because she did stop cursing for about 30 seconds. Yep, the crazy people were out today.....and they were at my Wal-mart.
LOL The crazy people are ALWAYS at our Walmart (which is why I never shop there!!). I am about to step outside into the cold weather to get a shot of this beauty myself. Great moon shot! (Oh and pray for those people- I know you do!)
@cathieg It's actually quite easy if you have a zoom lens and auto settings on your camera. You have to speed up the shutter to take a faster picture of the moon. A full moon might shoot at /1000 and a quarter moon at 1/100. An auto camera will adjust to the darkness instead of the bright moon you are photographing, which is why you end up with a bright blob. Someone on 365 explained it to ma a few years ago. Now I'm hooked on taking moon photos!
Sounds like a memorable shopping trip. ;)
