My inner Julia! by homeschoolmom

My inner Julia!

My Get Pushed challenge this week was to take a photo that represents my favorite movie. I can't say that I have a favorite all time movie, but a movie that I really love that inspired me was Julia and Julia. So, today, I finally had time to channel my inner Julia. I didn't do some fancy French dish, but I did de-bone a turkey and cook the bones to make a rich broth and made homemade dumplings. Dinner was yummy.
So funny how everything tastes better when it's homemade! Great cooking shot.

Hi Lisa, thank you for your challenge for get-pushed-241. My challenge to you is to shoot at a particular time of day. Throw dice (or use any other random selector of your choice). The number you get represents the start of the hour (you can choose am or pm) to take your shot. Hope that makes sense and works for you. Let me know if not and I'll come up with plan b :-)

A great photo of the day-to-day that many would overlook! And my wife will be most pleased that you made me hungry for some broth and dumplings and I will be quite inclined to put some together this weekend!

@lizhammond Makes perfect sense. Great idea. It's hard to find new challenges when you've been doing this a long time.
