My son and two of his Boy Scout friends went to an International Culture Festival at a local church to recruit new Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts for our Troop and Pack. There wasn't many boys at this event, but at least one family seemed interested. Either way, it was fun. And the free food samples were fantastic.While most of the displays and food were from a Hispanic country, my favorite was the shrimp rice noodles from Thailand.
Had 1/3 of Scout Pack (10) in the library this week to 'do' their 'Library Badge' and 2 were girls. Kept them occupied for 2 hours and all of them borrowed a book before they left!!
