Our church is weird. It consists of 3 buildings, plus 3 temporary modular buildings. Thirteen years ago, they started in the little wooden building that is now our coffee shop. They quickly outgrew that and erected a giant tent building, that is now our children's area. But, instead of building a nice sanctuary, they then built a gymnasium and a playground, so the growing community around it can use it. So, now we are trying to make the entry into the gym look more like a modern church. Last week, I helped hang the "rock" wallpaper. Today, the boys and I helped stain some of the pallet boards while Jason, one of a church members who is heading up most of the work, and Angie, wife of one of our pastors, helps him.
