I dropped my boys off at the high school baseball field to participate in a fundraiser for a local homeless shelter. They were supposed to camp out in a box city all night. However, about 2 a.m., my youngest son woke up with wet feet and realized it was raining. He just rolled over and went back to sleep, but a few minutes later the organizers of the event woke everyone up and told them to do home. They were worried about lightening. So, they got home about 2:30 a.m. The temperature dropped from 95 to 59. It felt great outside.
The sunset was amazing, but my camera battery was dead. So, thank goodness for my cellphone.
