Two baby mockingbirds rested in our yard today. One flew away. This one was still in the yard when we let the dog out. My son found him first. The dog smelled it a few times. I'm glad it didn't try to fly away, because he sould have chased it then. Good thing the boys mowed the grass yesterday or we wouldn't have been able to see him.
He's so cute- sure hope he found shelter for the night if you have cats in the neighborhood- although I'm sure Seamus does a good job in keeping them socially distanced from your yard!
@olivetreeann No cats in our yard. He barely allows birds. I'm glad this one didn't try to fly away, else he probably would have caught it. He almost caught an adult bird in our yard yesterday.
