We should not have started with the GFIC outlet. Five phone calls to my FIL for help, we were thinking both GFIC outlets were defective. My husband decided to try again and it worked perfectly. No idea why, but he made sure to do the second one the exact same way. Two GFICs, 3 regular electrical outlets, a phone jack and a triple (two light switches and an electrical outlet). Literally took us until dinner time.
