Taste of home

Ramp butter on my steak, and ramps in my fried potatoes. So good. Ramps are wild leeks that grow in the spring in the Appalachian Mountains. Very pungent, but yummy. I grew up eating them.

I’ve heard of them my whole life, grew up in the mountains but I’ve never eaten them. I love leeks, onions and chives so I think I would like them.
