This tree in the woods behind our house looks like it's having a rough day. It's bark has many scars on it, probably from branches breaking. It's covered in lichen, and this autumn morning it got snowed on again. But, it's still standing, which is more than I can say for another tree nearby which snapped in two over the weekend. Nov. word for today is rough.
@tremerryn Thanks! @sarasdadandmom I don't know. I just moved here in July. I'm assuming it will, since I don't remember any dead trees in this little strip of woods over the summer. In fact, we were surprised at how thin in was, since it was so dense before the leaves fell.
