For Tag Challenge 89, I ended up with the tags "green" and "France." So, I gathered up some souvenirs from France (a little Eifel Tower replica and some old French Francs), some artwork from Paris and my scrapbook filled with photos I took in Paris in the early 1990s on various trips to France. Oddly enough, some of those pictures in the scrapbook may have been taken during a trip there over New Years 1992. I colorized the money and the Eifel Tower.
@swilde@twr@dh@digitalrn@juliedduncan Thanks so much. This is the first time I have actually been able to come up with something to meet the two tags I have ended up with. LOL! @rachel2014 Rachel, I used selective coloring in the photo for yellows, so mostly just the money was colored. Then I did further editing on Photoshop Elements to replace the yellows and brown tones with greens. For the Eifel Tower, I just took the pen feature with a green color and basically traced the lines of the tower. It took me quite a while!
@joansmor Thanks! @rachel2014 Sorry! I didn't meant to talk over your head. I used the selective coloring setting on my new camera which filters out all colors but the one you choose. In this case I chose yellow, then turned it green through processing the Photoshop Elements. In the past I have also used Picasa (which is a fairly good free program), but it has limited capabilities. So, I loaded the picture onto my computer and used Elements to replace the yellows with greens (there is a feature to do that). I had to do it 5 or 6 times to get all the different shades of yellows to green. Then I picked a shade of green that I thought looked like green oxidation on a statue and drew it onto the Eifel Tower (that was brown in my picture). I basically traced it with my mouse using the draw feature. Some other programs will let you do this also. I hadn't really done any photo editing until I joined 365, but once you start playing with it, it's a lot of fun! LOL!
