Revolutionary home! by homeschoolmom

Revolutionary home!

This beautiful old white house (with black trim) has stood on this spot in Methuen, MA, since the Revolution. It has amazing architectural details. I think this qualifies for the high key technique challenge, as it is black and white with no grays.
Wow! They don't make 'm like they used to! ;) Seriously though, this is a beautiful house and clearly well-cared for! Love the way you composed this shot!

The woodwork of the old houses is always so interesting.

@luvmynynix @archaeofrog @joansmor Thanks! It was surrounded by trees and on a small road, so I just had to stop along the road and take the picture.

It must be beautiful inside. The old wooden detailing is what makes many of these old homes so special.

Wow this is a really gorgeous picture.. I love it! Do you think they'd let me move in? lol

@kristinlincoln Thanks! It looked like someone was actually living there, not a museum or something. I was surprised by the number of meticulously maintained homes here, homes that are well over 200 years old.
