For my selective color today, I experimented with many shades of blue trying to get a it to show up. It finally showed up with the blue painted on these porcelain Dutch 'wooden' shoes. I've learned the selective color feature is a little quirky, not all colors show up. Good lighting helps get your selected color to show up better.
It's very pretty. It doesn't have the "shock value" so much selective color has - it's subtle, you sort of have to look twice to realize that it IS mostly black and white, especially with the blue border. I like it.
@therubysusan Thanks! That's why I gave it a blue border, so it would show up. It seems to be very difficult to get the blue to show up. Red and orange show up the easiest.
This works nicely. I'm not a great selective colour fan but in this case it works well. I guess it's because we are accustomed to blue and white delf ware
