I have never seen an interstate that reduces down to a single narrow lane in both directions with a speed limit of 45....until now. This section through the White Mountains in northern NH is narrow and curvy....and quite beautiful.
Just filling in some pictures I didn't upload during our move.
It's such a narrow valley, there isn't room for more than 2 lanes. Usually, they blast the hills and make room for the road, but I'm glad they didn't do that here. It's a beautiful area. And, it's so steep, it's hard to go very fast any way unless you are coming down the other side.
